There’s something to enjoy each and every day of 2019 with Joe Czerwinski’s third installment of his Southern Rhône report, boasting a whopping 365 tasting notes. "There are scores of great values from unheralded appellations in the Southern Rhône, like Lirac, Cairanne and Rasteau," he says. "In great vintages, like 2016, these wines can provide great drinking for relatively modest prices—mostly around $25 or so. Load up for the holidays!"
