Now Live: Interim End of November 2018 Issue

Attention, readers: the Interim End of November 2018 Issue has been published, featuring nearly 1,200 tasting notes across France, Italy, Germany, China and Oregon.

For those who missed out on Matter of Taste New York, Stephan Reinhardt’s Champagne breakfast of champions master class with Roederer’s Cristal and Jean-Baptiste Lécaillon will ease your FOMO.

Editor-in-chief Lisa Perrotti-Brown’s much anticipated Bordeaux: 2016 Vintage in Bottle is a major highlight of this Issue, featuring over 450 wines reviewed, like Cheval Blanc, Château Margaux and Haut-Brion.

There’s something to enjoy each and every day of 2019 with Joe Czerwinski’s third installment of his Southern Rhône report, boasting a whopping 365 tasting notes. "There are scores of great values from unheralded appellations in the Southern Rhône, like Lirac, Cairanne and Rasteau," he says. "In great vintages, like 2016, these wines can provide great drinking for relatively modest prices—mostly around $25 or so. Load up for the holidays!"

“Oregon is growing so fast—it was impossible to get all the big name producers into one report,” says reviewer Erin Brooks of her second part to her report of the area. Big players highlighted in the follow-up include 00 Wines, Archery Summit, Brick House, Cristom, Rose & Arrow, Minimus and the very first review of Larry Stone, MS’s new label, Lingua Franca, among others.

Finally, Liwen Hao’s annual Sake report is also on deck this Issue, with 23 tasting notes, many of which are rated 90 points and higher.
