Tra Vigne

I have always enjoyed this restaurant for their casual, but intensely flavored dinners. Our two inexpensive wines included a tasty dry white from Nama made from the Gewurztraminer grape, and a pleasant, bistro-styled, simple red, the 2007 Morgante Nero. My favorite dishes included Tra Vigne’s superb made-on-the-premises (from buffalo milk) mozzarella, and the wonderful lamb ragout meat sauce served over perfectly cooked pasta. My wife also enjoyed her tuna and squid ink pasta dish.
