Top-Rated Cabernet Sauvignons from Issue 232

Lisa Perrotti-Brown is passing the Australian reviewing torch to Joe Czerwinski, and she’s going out with a bang, tasting over 150 wines in her latest article in Issue 232. “My love for Australian wines will never fade, and I will continue to follow and adore the wines of this great nation until my very last sip,” she states.

Of those wines tasted, Perrotti-Brown saw some excellent recent vintages. Here are six top-rated Cabernet Sauvignons from our latest issue for the taking, all rated 91 points and higher.

“…the concentrated, minty black berry and savory flavors fill the mouth…”

“Big, rich and full-bodied, the palate is a hedonist’s playground of voluptuous fruit and spice.”

“It fills the mouth with expressive cassis and toasty flavors.”

“Structured with a firm backbone, it finishes with great length.”

“The medium-bodied palate delivers a great intensity of black fruit and cedary flavors.”

“It packs an abundance of baked berry and spice box flavors into a relatively elegant package.”
