The Wine Advocate Print Edition Has A Brand New Look

The new June 2017 Issue of The Wine Advocate marks the beginning of a new era for the print edition. For the first time since Robert M. Parker, Jr., published the very first issue of his Wine Advocate in 1978, this world-renowned wine journal has undergone a complete redesign and rejuvenation.

Those of you who subscribe to the print edition have already experienced these changes (what we hope you will consider improvements, or at least aesthetically pleasing additions). All were carefully thought-out—and underwent many rounds of reviews and revisions—before finally being implemented and published for your reading pleasure.

Now in the 21st century, The Wine Advocate is printed on the more familiar magazine-style paper stock. And, it’s in full color, with a selection of photos hand-selected by our reviewers to best illustrate each of their reports in the print edition.

You can also catch a preview of what’s coming up in the next print issue, or peruse our Matter of Taste events scheduled over the coming year in the best cities around the world. Also in the new design, each print edition will now feature a special column written by Editor-in-Chief Lisa Perrotti-Brown, MW. Whether it’s an introduction to the specific issue or sliver of insight into what is currently on the mind of our resident Master of Wine, the new Editor’s Letter is sure to be a great read each and every issue.

As you may well know, access to Robert Parker Wine Advocate is available by subscription only—whether online or in print. But, back issues of the newly redesigned print edition of The Wine Advocate will also be available to order on a separate page, as a print-on-demand book. So even if you missed this issue, you have not actually missed out. Starting July 11, 2017, head over to our print-on-demand page here to order your copy of the new June 2017 Issue—the debut of our new look, our new era.

Whether you are fully immersed in digital age of paperless everything or really enjoy the feel of a tangible magazine in your hands, flipping the glossy pages as you absorb all the latest reports coming out of the greatest wine regions of the world, we’ve got you covered.
