Spot Our Reviewers From California to the Cliffs of Moher

Social media can give even the tiniest of glimpses into the lives of others. In our new series, we’re rounding up what a handful of our Wine Advocate team members have been up to over the past week. Join us along our ever-changing tasting adventures.

Last week’s eclipse marked Lisa Perrotti-Brown’s week of Cabernet tasting, bookended with two venerable winemakers—Christophe Paubert and Michel Rolland.

Further down the West Coast, Italian reviewer Monica Larner is enjoying summertime in the Golden State with a juicy burger topped with crushed avocado, pico de gallo, jalapeño, pepper jack cheese and tortilla strips at Mesa Burger in Santa Monica.

First stop: the local deli at the Paris CDG TGV station. Next stop: Avignon. Managing editor Joe Czerwinski (@joeczinsta) is out on his first assignment.

Of the 2016 João Miguel Rocha Sem Igual Vinho Verde, @mark_squires_wine says, “Small and special.” (Full tasting notes are coming soon!)

Spanish reviewer Luis Gutierrez is conquering Ireland, one full Irish breakfast at a time.
