Matter Of Taste Singapore: A Celebration of Bordeaux Wine

Over 800 winemakers and wine lovers from around the globe came together on October 21 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel for a celebration of Bordeaux Wine at Matter Of Taste Singapore.

On the day, 200 iconic wines from both Bordeaux and Bordeaux grape varieties from around the world were showcased and enjoyed by wine lovers in a walkabout tasting. All wines featured have been handpicked for their outstanding quality and awarded 90 points or above by Robert Parker Wine Advocate.

Wine connoisseurs also had the chance to meet with the experts during Master Classes; Robert Parker Wine Advocate Managing Editor Joe Czerwinski celebrated Cabernet “rock stars and dandies,” while “bad boy” Jean-Luc Thunevin presented a vertical of his Saint-Émilion superstar Château Valandraud

A number of wine-pairing dinners also took place; Joe Czerwinski and Pierre-Henri Morel, general manager of Two Hands Winery, hosted an Australian Bordeaux varietal dinner at Alma by Juan Amador.
